A horrible day of flats

We had a family ride out upto Knitsley Cafe / Farm Shop this am. Angus got a front puncture less than 2 mile into the ride so had a blast home to fix that one. It was a coolish and overcast ride upto the cafe but the terrain was dry and fast going. Had a good feed and water then headed back down the line again. Puncture no2 of the day coming out of Lanchester, glass cut on the rear tyre. Found out that the spare pump was bust and mine decided not to work either so was a gas canister job. No spare 700c tube so was a glue and patch job to get home. This took up the whole morning and there was a pile of bikes needing a wash and various repair jobs to do. Another 2 1/2 hours later i got back in the house for a cupa, what a day!
