Selling & posting bikes

Over the last few weeks i have been having a small clearout of some bike stock. Its been a while since i have sold any complete bikes so cleaned them up, took some photos and listed them Ebay. I knew the sellers fee was 10% but what i didnt know was they have started taking a 10% fee on your postage as well. On top that Paypal take a further 3.4% + 20p transaction fee from the overall sale and postage. Yes i got got caught out and cost me money, not to worry! I have always used Paisley Freight for delivery of my bikes. You book it on line through their website, quick & simple. If you book before 11am you can get same day collection and delivery is a 24hrs service. Its a flat fee of £22.50 regardless of box size or weight, thats the real advantage. They normally sub contract it out to TNT who have always come on the day that i have booked the collection and always delivered the bike the next working day. The only disadvantage is that you dont get allocated a time slot for the collection. I tend to book just before 11am and take 1/2 day pm holiday instead of sitting in all day. Can can also book many other Sporting / Car goods that are sometimes hard to post, here is a link to their website
