Stokesley road ride loop

Decided to take the morning off before going to a hospital appointment in the pm as the forecast was looking good. Time to get some miles in so took the Litespeed out for a road loop that i last rode back in 2012. The trip down the A19 was an experience early in the morning. The trip normally takes about 50mins, this morning nearly 1.5hrs! and there was no accidents. Anyway i parked up and set off from the Town Hall for a 47mile loop around the surrounding villages / countryside. The route takes in mainly quiet country back lanes which were very muddy, covered in gravel and plenty of pot holes but very little traffic. There was very strong SW wind which made it hard going at times on the exposed sections. During the ride there was a couple of light rain showers but mainly sunny and warmish. Just under three hours later i returned back at the Town Hall. Time for a quick refuel and some retail therapy @ Westbrook Cycles! The rep for GORE Bike Wear was in with the Winter 2014/15 range, we havent even finished this Winter yet. Below are a few photos from the mornings action. Here is a lnk to the Garmin route. I only missed one turning but the Garmin did take a funny turn and i had to reset the course and it was ok after that.
