The sun was out so i was out on the Eastway

Yes the sun has finally come out today and was lovely if you were in a sheltered spot out of the wind. Dont worry the forecast is back to normally tomorrow - rain! I managed to drag the arse out so a blast along the line to Newton Cap Viaduct, Bishop Auckland & back. I picked this route as its sheltered in places and was 90 degrees to the wind in both directions. The lines have started to dry up a little but still an inch of cold, wet brown slop in the wooded sections. It was nice to get out in the fresh air with the sun shinning at times. I took the Eastway ST1.0 steelie again, its just so comfortable to ride and nips along if you give it a push. Planning to get another couple of rides in this week on the Eastway to try and get the mileage climbing back up again.
Bench was too wet to sit on at the turning point, quick drink and off again
