It started off well on Monday with sun and a gentle cool breeze so got a ride in on the Eastway along the lines. Tuesday was just horrible, then the snow came on Wednesday and I was travelling about Weardale of all places! so didnt get a ride in. Wednesday night the wind was rattling the roof tiles, it was that strong but today was okish for a ride. The sun was in and out but still a strong wind and got a good horizontal sleet shower in my face when i hit the highest point of my ride. Not to worry all part of the fun, along with climbing over trees that had been up rooted by the gales, freewheeling with my feet in the air through flooded sections of lines ;-)
