Mud Shovels removed from Carbon Beargrease - time to hit the dusty trails

With the recent spell of dry weather and strong winds drying out the local trails it was time to remove the PDW mud shovels that were on the Beargrease for several months. Its lovely to see and ride the bike again with lovely clean lines. Dont get me wrong the Mud shovels work very well at keeping you clean but they are not the most attractive mudguards to look at. This is the second day of blazing sun after a good overnight forst. It was minus 1.5 degress on the way to work which is warmer than yesterdays minus 3 degress.  The only downside is there is still a cool wind in places but i can live with that. After many working day rides on the Eastway it was time to drag the fat tyred beast back out for some fun. It was rolling well along the dry/fast rolling trails and is great to get back on and watch other riders / walkers & horseriders faces and you ride on by. Below a few photos
