Convert Carbon Beargrease into an Instigat-grease ?

Now i have my new Rabbit hole 26+" wheels built & fitted do i buy a pair of Surly Dirt Wizard 26+" tyres to convert it into an Instigatgrease? The tyres are in stock in the UK so will be able to get hold of them within a couple of days, unlike the Bud that i am still waiting for!
Here is the blurb from Surly - An aggressive tread focused on traction and control in loose and varied terrain, with beveled leading edge dual row knobs in the center and well-spaced, siped edge knobs to dig into loose corners. Designed to be run on 50mm rims, the 2.75" casing inflates about 27.5" overall diameter (that's pert near 650b, folks), meaning you get some benefits of a larger diameter tire like ground approach angle and more footprint, with easier maneuverability of a smaller diameter tire, plus some extra pneumatic cushioning. Minimum rim size for these bad boys is 35mm.

ETRTO: 622mm
Casing: 120tpi, folding bead (850g) rrp £69.99
27tpi wire bead (1070g) rrp £59.99

I have never ridden a 650b/27.5" mtb but i have ridden a 29"er and a 26"er so should be somewhere in between! There should be loads of mud clearance on the frame & fork but will drop the bb height. The only other thing is it will also alter the gearing, i will be spinning out more but will be easier on the hills! The knob shoulder width with my 4" Dillenger is 92mm and according to the Surly spreadsheet the dirt wizard on a Rabbit Hole 26+" 50mm rim measures 72mm so 20mm width difference. Also Surly are planning on manufacturing the Knard in a 26+" x 3" version but the question to be when will it ever land on these fare shores.
Not sure if anybody else has tried this combination of frameset/rims & tyres before? it might be worth a try, watch this space.
Nearly forgot the Surly Instigator is in stock now in the UK (apart form med & xs) info here
