Early Saturday morning ride in the sun

Up and out the door just after 7am, this morning to clock a few miles under the fat tyres in the sun. Another great day for a ride around the local trails on the Fat Bikes. Alittle more wind today and cooler early morning but still a warm ride. Its time to start to dig out the summer kit and put the thermals / winter boots away! below are some photos from the ride - enjoy the sun while it lasts
Second offroad section of the ride

Finally got a new sign up @ Baxter Wood / Tollhouse Road junction

Skate decks still stacked up

Still plenty of muddy puddles

Nice little drop off to practice on

View from Croxdale Bridge

Electric gates working today

New fence and signs in the woods

Sun streaming through the trees onto the singletrack

Plenty long grass & nettles now

Puddle of doom - always ride through the middle !

Icecream women must have gone shopping, banged on the hatch but no one home ;-(

Nearly home now, 4+ miles to go

Last railway bridge crossing before home

Time for a wash & race prep for Aske Nutcracker
