Day out at National Railway Museum - Shildon.

Its been seven years since we were last at the museum and its only 15 miles away so it was trip out that was well overdue. Angus has never been so it was his first time here. Its free to enter but you can leave a donation in the box. We had a walk around the museum which is very good, plenty interactive stuff for the kids and there was also a model train fare on as well with loads of displays / stands etc. Coffee shop for some nosh which is not the cheapest but as I have said its free to get in. There was a locomotive running as well so we coughed up £9.20 and had a return trip up and down the line, great fun being blasted with steam/soot from the engine!
