Road ride through to Raby Castle

Yesterday me & Angus had ta ride through to Raby Castle on the road bikes. Jane & Arran were entered for the 5k run within the grounds of the Raby Estate organised by Teesdale Athletics Club. The annual ride through normally takes 1hr 10-15mins butt his year it was slower due to the massive headwind nearly all the way there. Because we were travelling in one direction for nearly 22miles to get here there was just no rest from the wind. We should have got a lift through & rode back home! away 1hr 25mins we were shattered and time for a change in warm clothing. I had my Beargrease to have a tootle around the course to watch Jane & Arran and take some snaps. No PB's this year for them due to the wind on a hilly course. We did not take any photos on the ride through as we had our head down and just wanted to get there and out of the wind.

very well organised as ever
