Cloudy & warmish local road ride with Angus

Well the weekends weather was not as bad as what they forecasted last Friday. We had a trip down to Stokesley on Saturday as my Bowman Pilgrims was booked in to sort out the Di2 climb shifter. I dropped it off and left Jamie to it. We had a walk around the shops / stream and fed the starving ducks then bumped into Marky coming out of the bakers, he said it was fixed and ready to collect. They cleared all the existing programmes from the various parts and uploaded the latest software and run a diagnosis on the climb shifter so everything is working. Well I say working I haven't had a good ride on the bike yet just back through the car park to the van and all seemed ok. We had a go on the driving range at the golf club on the way back - what a laugh, the balls were flying every where or not as the case to be several times. Sunday morning was a washout but cleared up mid afternoon.
Angus managed a road ride yesterday as he has no more school now and only works on Thurs, Fri, Sat & Sun, so that has put paid to his all day activities at the weekend. If you are over at the Durham branch of Halfords in the cycle department upstairs give him a kick up the arse!
Today he rode through to meet up with me for a local road ride. The early morning sun soon disappeared and was overcast for the ride but still quite warm out of the wind. The skies were dark but it stopped dry. We bumped into the Durham Uni club going the other way with there heads down and the traffic was a lot busier than normal, don't know why, anyway below a couple of snaps. More soon -
