Two sunny rides. Angus - Scott Addict CX & Me - Bowman Pilgrims

Sunny, sunny, sunny and red hoy but still a wind. This is the hottest day so far I would say in Co Durham. Sunny going to work at 6.30am and still sunny at 6.30pm. What a contrast from Monday when I took the Pilgrims out with lashing rain and 8 degrees today was 24 degrees on the Garmin at the top of the last climb. Think the heat must have gone to drivers / local's heads. Dropped down into Willington and a car pulled out straight in front of me whilst some local youths hurling some abusive language at few hundred yards down the high street. Got back to Meadowfield then a bus pulled out in front of me at did 18-20mph all the way, must be the heat. Never had any hassle on my country back lanes, just poor road surfaces. Pilgrims is going well but have a rattle on the right hand shifter. Below are a few pics -

Angus had the day off from exams so he also made the most the sunshine. He did 39 miles on his Scott Addict CX and was loving it
