Fresh Goods Sunday - Zipp SL Handlebars

I was after a new pair of bars for my Dale Nano Black so ordered these ZIPP SL bars from Westbrook Cycles. When they landed I was also building my new Bowman Pilgrims and did not have any for that build so instead of stripping off bar tape etc I just used them on the Pilgrims build. They are nice and wide so some extra honking out of the saddle up the climbs. They feel comfortable on the hands, I opted for the traditional drop but also come in the compact short shallow drop version. RRP £266 but I got them for £135 inc next day delivery. So far I have done several rides and not had any problems. They are wider than all my other FSA / Easton bars and but still feel comfy on the gravel / winter road bike.

Manufacturers info - A minimalist bar for climbers and smaller riders, the Zipp® SL Bar is the result of more than four years of research and development and more than 40 revisions of the carbon-laminate structure. It weighs a mere 190g, but it's stiff enough to grunt over the steepest grades and smooth enough for all-day comfort, thanks to Zipp's VCLC™ vibration-damping technology included in all our bars. Features such as dual cable routing grooves and a gradual taper from 31.8 mm at the clamp to 24.2 mm at the bends contribute to the SL's classic looks.
Our goal was to design the lightest drop bar available while still passing EFBe Laboratory's top performance racing standard. We achieved it with the SL.

I cut the bars down to the last mark as the flat section was too long, saved some weight!
