Sunday morning local offroad ride on the Salsa Beargrease / Krampgrease

We were not up and out too early today and decided to take it steady'ish on a local offroad loop, nothing too technical - just a chill out ride. We set off in the sun then it clouded over then sunny then cloudy again but it kept dry for all of the ride. There was a good old breeze out the way out in our faces again and never felt any tailwind on the way back in. I discovered that my legs were tired from yesterdays ride on the last few climbs on the way back home out of Durham and Angus was pulling away for me. As for the bikes no probs at all and were rolling well on the damp conditions in the woods and dry dusty trails in the sunny parts. On the way home we called in past the old race course to see the aftermath of 150,000 people visiting Durham, see the photos below! the funfair had packed up and nearly all gone.
Next Sunday Bikewise will be back again at the new Police HQ this time, should be a canny day out.
