Ride through to NECCL RD3 @ South Shields on the Salsa Krampgrease

Woke up to a beautiful sunny morning so decided to have a ride through to NECCL RD3 CX Event @ Gypsies Green, South Shields. The sun was out, it was hot and very little wind for a change on the coast.
I took the Salsa Krampgrease for the ride through and it was flying along the various trails, in fact it did the route in record time. The Knard tyres are still ok as there was no deep mud sections but will be looking to fit & try out the new Dirt Wizard 29x3" tyres soon.
There was a fair few people on the coast enjoying the fantastic weather conditions and so did the competitors in the main race at 1.30pm. There was good turnout for the event and have uploaded two galleries of photos HERE
