The forecast is looking dry all week and the sun has finally come back out again today so time to enjoy some local trails. I took the Beast of the East out and it was a joy to ride again. I kept it all local taking in a great mix of terrain, the single track sections through the woods is starting to dry up now but the grassy sections are still soft going under tyre. I even decided to take both mudguards off for the ride.
It was warm in the sun with temperatures reaching 7 degrees but still a cool breeze in the shaded parts.
Really enjoyed the ride and was much needed fresh air in my lungs.
