I got a pair of lightweight more breathable suede summer boots, Jane got some lovely 2-3 season leather walking boots and Angus ended up with some Military boots for his club sized feet. That took a fare while to sort out and he chucked in another two tins of wax and a tin of protector stuff for mine.
After all that lot we ended up going to the Jolly Drovers just outside Leadgate for a family nosh up, very nice it was as well.
Sunday morning and everyone was tired, me & Angus had planned on a bike ride but swapped over from winter wheels to summer wheels on my car / van and sisters car. Then decided to wash and clean the sand out of the van from Berwick and Angus buffed up his motor as well. Late lunch then just enough time for a quick walk in the sun and cool breeze testing out our new boots before going around to see my mum. That was it holidays over for all of us. We are all back to work / school and back to the grind stone yet again.
May week is already booked with more DIY / decorating jobs then its the summer hols, time flies over!
