Sorry for the lack of blogs but we have just come back from a holiday in Berwick upon Tweed. Its been a few years since we have been to Berwick so it was time for a revisit. The forecast was looking very mixed before we left but the weather turned out to be fantastic for 95% of the time. We left Durham in the pouring rain and reached Berwick in lovely sunshine. It was dry the whole time we were there, yes some cloud, wind & a hail shower but on the whole the weather made a fantastic break away. I even had to put my suntan cream on a couple of days when walking / chilling on the beaches in the sun as my skin was starting to burn.
