Sunday morning local road ride

Well that's another week flown over and will be soon the summer hols! just where has the year gone. I was hoping for a ride on Friday but it never happened, was also hoping for a ride yesterday but that never happened either, busy finishing some jobs off on the new van and sorting out some gear  / nikes etc in the man cave. The Durham Big Meeting was on yesterday and they did not get he best of weather, real shame for them as it was as busy as ever by all accounts. The last of the 2016 nexc series was also on yesterday in a rather wet & muddy Hamsterley Forest.
Back to today and it was lovely and sunny when we got up first thing so decided to get the bling road bikes out for a change but by the time we got changed and up the road that was the sun gone for most of the ride. We had cloud, overcast, strong winds, hot, cold, rain, drizzle, dry and even a little hazy sunshine, not to worry just the normal really. We did our local "Saturday morning village route" which is just under 32 miles and just enough climbing to stretch the legs a little. Below are a few pics from ride, enjoy.
I am also having a clear out so will be listing some bikes and tyres for sale very soon.
