Weekly Catch up inc a trip down to Whitby for the day

Just what a week it has been again, total boom, boom, boom every day. Very little spare time but we did get to the Planet Circus @ Speenymoor on Tuesday night, all seats £5.99 so good vale for money. Its the first time we have been to this one and was good entrainment for the money. It lasted 45 mins with 30 mins break then another 45 mins of show. You were not aloud to take photos during the show so I took a couple during the break. Some of the acts were better than the other but defo worth £6 each!
Thursday I got a walk for a couple of hours but no time for any biking this week. Last weekend we were going to go to Whitby but the rains came so yesterday the forecast was looking good so headed down there for the day.
It was sunny and red hot around the town, not to mention very busy! the Scottish schools are off and some of the English schools also broke up on Friday so peak holiday season now. It was a lot cooler walking up the beach towards Sandsend but had a lovely tail wind back. We also did the many steps up to the church for a lovely sit on the bench. Oh and of course the chippy for lunch and amusement arcades on the 2p machine for an hour.
After driving home we went straight to Karting NE over at Maiden Law, Arran was on first on the shorter circuit but a full adult sized go kart! he was flying, me and Angus plus his mate was next on the full circuit along with another 30 nutters! it was mental, Angus was flying, I got motion sickness and was nearly sick, it felt like I had been on a ferry for 12 hours in a gale force 9 wind. Never again for me, I will stick to the quads and land rover driving in the future!
