Ride up the Waskerley to Park Head on the Norco Search

Todays ride was a rather cold and overcast ride up the old Waskerley railway line to Park Head then along past the café to the top of Crawleyside climb past the edge of the old quarry. From there I dropped onto the road for a fast section back to the picnic area to pick the line back up just after Hownsgill and back to Consett again. The lines and roads were damp and soft going in places. I also had a slight headwind on the way up which added to the suffering in my legs. I was flying coming back down though. It was all quite with just two other cyclists, few dog walkers and that was it.
As for the rest of the week we had a sunny ride on Monday to Shincliffe and back, Thursday a walk for a couple of hours. Weekend is looking hot but weather warnings have been issued for gale force winds!
Below are some pics from todays ride and some from Mondays ride, enjoy and more soon.
