Road Trip Part 2 - Kielder, Northumberland.

From Newcastleton we headed back over the border and dropped back in to England and headed for Kielder Village. It was time for some lunch before heading back out on the bikes. I took the gas stove some had some soup, hot drinks with our packed lunch.
New spare tube, new co2 cartridge and map for Lonesome Pine route packed and we were off. It was a cold start but our legs soon warmed back up again on the climbs. Some of the singletrack sections have been resurfaced on Lonesome Pine thank god as they were getting very rocky / stoney in places. Its always a good climb to the top and on to the board walk which was dry but still slippery on some of the corners. There was some fantastic clear views from the top but the wind picked up and we soon cooled down. We then set off for the down hills back to the village. No punctures this time and steady away as our legging were weak by now.
Once back to the village it was a quick change of clothes and packed the van and headed home.
Below are a few pics from the second part of the day trip out. Enjoy and hopefully more soon.
