Fresh Goods Sunday - Schwalbe SV21 650b x 1.5" inner tubes

The problem with owning several bikes and all different wheels sizes is keeping stock of spare tubes in all the sizes. The Slate comes with 650b / 27.5" dia rims and 40c tyres. Schwalbe recommend SV21 tubes which are 40mm short valve presta standard inner tube claimed 205g (mine 202g & 193g). There is another option SV21A which is the lightweight version claimed 135g.
They also list a SV12 standard tube with a claimed weight of 140g, I have not tried this version yet. The tubes that come standard were Kendra and weighed 197g. I find the Kendra and SV21 little bulky in the 40c tyre but have had not problems yet. They are alot better fit in the 2" Panaracer that i am running up front. I always find the quality on Schwalbe tubes are very good and last a long time.
Manufacturers RRP £6.59 for standard and £7.79 for the lightweight SV21A version.
Manufacturers Blurb - Schwalbe tubes are designed & manufactured to retain air pressure considerably longer than their competitors. Not only is each individual tube inflated & inserted into a mould to ensure that there is even wall thickness & excellent air retention, they are also stored under pressure for 24hrs to test air retention.
