This tyre come as standard when I bough the Mavic wheelset a few years back. I noticed last year the rear tyre was starting to run flat in the middle and was splitting near the bead in a couple of places. Time for a replacement for this season. I have bought the same tyre again in the same width 25c. The front one is still spot on compared to the back. Mavic tyres don't get the best ratings but found them to have plenty of grip but the rubber compound they use does not last long on the back. The rrp is also eye watering and even with some discount they are still a pricy tyres for what you get. Hopefully this one will last a few more years out on the roads of County Durham.
