Todays local road ride on the Nano Black & yesterdays local walk

Todays ride was a local road ride starting and finishing in Great Lumley. It was a local loop taking in West Rainton, Low Pittington, High Pittington, Moorsley, Hetton Le Hole, Fence Houses etc. It started off sunny then clouded over and then the sun got back out near the end of the ride. The wind is back again and was tough going on many sections. I took the Cannondale Nano Black Ltd Edt for a change as the roads were dry and the gritter has not been out for a few days. God this bike fly's along compared to the Slate on the road sections but then again you cannot take the Black on any off road sections! I was also trying out my new and very bright Sidi road todays as the temperature was around 12-14 degrees, They are very stiff and comfortable but have not tried them out on a long run yet.
Below are a few snaps from the ride and some from a local 5.6 mile hot walk me and Jane did yesterday afternoon.

How long will they stay clean like this lol

A couple of pics from yesterdays local walk, the trails were up the eyes in clarts after the heavy overnight rain on the Saturday. Lovely and sunny and very warm too, We were both overdressed !

Found plenty of fly tipping as well in the farmers field just off the A167.
