C2C to Consett and diversion via Pontop Pike transmitters on the way back

Well I took the Mason back out today for a spin up the C2C line to Consett. There was a strong headwind nearly all the way up which made it very tough going in places but once I turned and headed back I was hitting 25mph without touching the pedals. I did a slight diversion and added in some extra climbing to take in Pontop Pike transmitters. It was then a short road section to drop down through Harelaw and back into Annfield Plain to pick the line back up. I passed Jonny Davison heading up the line towards home, apart from that the tracks were very quiet with only a few other users out and about. As for the weather the temperature has dropped back down to normal and it was mainly overcast / cloudy with an odd sunny spell.
Make the most of the weekend even though is going to be glowing a near gale as the forecast is for heavy rain nearly all next week.
Below are a few pics from the ride, enjoy and hopefully more soon -
