Fresh Goods Sunday - Panaracer Graveking SK 700 x 43c Tyre

After buying the 700c Hunt Gravel wheel set for the Mason and fitting the 38c version of the Gravelking tyre I then fitted the wheels to the frameset to discover there was sheds loads of clearance left on both the fork and the rear end. So I decided to buy a 43c version and fit it onto the front wheel, again there is still loads of clearance around the fork crown. The 43c version has the same tread pattern as the 38c. The width comes up bang on but the weight is heavier - 535g than the claimed 490g which is unusual as all my other Panaracer tyres have been bang on or even lighter. I have fitted it tubeless with no problems what so ever and is holding air well. I just love these tyres and are ideal for the old railway lines / gravel tracks around Co Durham. They roll reasonably fast on tarmac as well.
RRP £39.99 and I paid £30 inc next day delivery
Spec - Looking for a tire that's more aggressive than the mixte-tread GravelKing? The GravelKing Sk might just be the tire you need for the more hardcore roads. Aggressive knobs, ZSG Natural rubber compound, puncture protection breaker and AX-α special low rolling resistance casing make the Gravelking a go-anywhere tire. And tubeless compatible up to 60 PSI!
