NECCL RD8 Billy Hall Fram, Billy Row, Crook, Sat 10th Dec

This Saturday sees yet another new venue for the NECCL Super Saturday Series. If you are local'ish and ride along the old railway lines then you will have probably passed the venue. If you are coming down the steep line from Stanley Crook to Crook its on your left at the first gate, if you are going up the hill on the line from Crook its on your right past the second gate.

If you are coming from Durham / Nevilles Cross head for Brancepth Village A690, down and up the first dip and turn right onto Stockley Lane at the top turn right onto B2699 and head for Stanley Crook, into the village and turn left down the hill A6298 to Billy Row then turn left onto Temperance Terrace.
If you are coming in from the North A68 go through Tow Law and turn left on the sharp bend onto Sunniside. South on the A68 come off right ta the roundabout and head towards Crook.

By car there is only one vehicle entry point which is off the B6298, signposted Temperance Terrace. We'll have cycling event signs out as well. If you use google maps and search for Billy Hall Farm you'll see two entrances, use the one to the left. The other entrance from the B6299 end is a private road and we will be turning vehicles away from this entrance to the course.

Dress for the cold, its an exposed venue at a fair old height. The weather forecast is looking nippy with a max temperature of 1 degrees and that with without he wind chill factor.
