Fresh Goods Sunday - Stans NoTubes Tyre Sealant, Quart 946ml

I only started using Stans last year when I converted two pairs of Hunt wheels to tubeless for the Mason. After a blow out on a rear I had to refill it when I got home. I originally bought the smaller bottle so had run out. This time I bought he larger quart bottle at a cracking good price. If fact it was way cheaper than the smaller bottle. When the Cube E bike landed it had tubes fitted which were lightweight but wanted to run tubeless. The rims already had the rim tape fitted but the bike came with no tubeless valves. I had a couple of spares but there was no thread on the stem when I took the core out so could not use the injector. The hardest part was cracking the tyre bead off rim. It took a fair while and some brut force but managed in the end. I used washing up liquid on the bead when refitting to ease seating and removal if required in the future. The front blew up first time, no leaks. The rear was leaking around the value area so used so of my Hunt rim tape and made a fresh hole and it worked. The next day the front was flattish but aired it up again and went for a ride. After a few weeks the front has lost it air twice and the rear has been ok. After a few more rides they have both settled in now and have hardly no air loss and are running sweet. I put a full 100ml in each wheel - 29" x 2.8", should be about right?

RRP £26.00 and I paid £14.22
